Dual Sleeve
Dual sleeves are seamed to create two or more separate compartments within the same sleeve. They are often used to package together related, but not identical items (for example, mouthwash in one compartment, shampoo in another).
The benefits of dual sleeve packaging include:
- The use of dual-sleeve packaging allows manufacturers to combine new or trial products with established high-volume products to get the consumer to try the new product.
- Durability and strength. For packaging multiple product units together, dual sleeves are a stronger and more durable solution than combo bands. With combo bands, the PVC only contacts the outside of the containers; with dual sleeves, each compartment in the sleeve fully surrounds the individual container, providing added PVC-to-surface contact to greatly strengthen the package.
- Increased consumer appeal. Dual sleeves can be printed in bright, attractive colors to give the product a high-degree of shelf-appeal.
