Obtaining Samples
There is no better way for a customer to appreciate a packaging concept or suggestion than to hold a sample of the recommended product in their hands. "Seeing is believing" is an old expression, but one that truly applies to the quality of packstar's products. We make obtaining a sample quick and easy by offering a 48-hour turnaround on all non-printed seamed sample requests. (Different grades heat shrinkable film may extend sample delivery time, based on availability.) NOTE: In order to ensure your complete satisfaction, packstar policy requires that all new orders MUST have sample approval for correct size and shrink characteristics before the order is considered final.
There are two ways to obtain a sample:
- Send us a sample of the product you need packaged, and explain what you are trying to accomplish with the product's packaging, as well as the type of packaging you want to use (printed or non-printed label, sleeve, bag, or seal)
OR
- E-mail (contact us) or call us (1-800-808-1688) with the dimensions of the product you need packaged (height, width, depth), and tell us the type of packaging you want to use (printed or non-printed label, sleeve, bag, or seal). For roll stock samples, we also require the core size plus the name and make of the equipment on which you plan to run the job.
Packstar offers 48-hour guaranteed turnaround on all non-printed seamed sample requests. Please advise the overnight carrier and account number.
Printed and seamless samples may or may not be available depending on our inventory levels. For printed items we will provide shrink distributor grid samples for graphic decisions.
